Cook Daniel

Cook Daniel is the alter ego of the Dutch music producer/ musician Kees Koek. With his international production company CJK Music Productions, he has an impressive history as a producer/arranger for famous and less famous (inter)national artists and productions.

In 2006 the idea came up to start the project 'Cook Daniel'. After years of producing work for others, 'Cook' now uses his creativity and experience to compose and produce his own original music. For these productions Cook Daniel works with professional top musicians of the Dutch music scene. Musicians that he worked with in the past and many others that he plans to work with in the future.

Cook Daniel-music is pure relaxing music: not too complicated, easy to listen to and very relaxing. One can call it lounge or dance, chill music or easy listening.! Bottom line: it is always feelgood music, based on quality and intensity, effortlessly resulting in jazzy, groovy tracks, based on global grooves and sounds that take you on a ! wonderous journey to African and Spanish atmospheres.

The title of the first Cook Daniel CD-album 'Dangle Grooves' refers to 'Dangling', moving easily, getting into the groove!
